It is recommended to have a Sheriff in the county where the Defendant can be found serve the papers on the Defendant. There will be a separate service fee (usually $50.00 (fifty dollars) in Wyoming).
You can contact the Sheriff's department in the county where the Defendant lives to determine the fee charged by the Sheriff. This also applies if your spouse lives out of state.
You will need to provide the Sheriff in the county where your spouse resides with a file-stamped copy of the Summons and Complaint for Divorce, to be served on the Defendant.
