Once the time for the Defendant to file an Answer has expired and you've sent your Initial Disclosures to the Defendant, then several options exist to move your case forward to obtain a Decree of Divorce. Read through the options below and select the one that best describes your situation: See Step 4 for more information on the appropriate time period based on where the Defendant was served.
Option A. If the Defendant filed an Answer or Answer and Counterclaim, and you both agree on all of the issues of your divorce, follow Option A.
Option B. If the Defendant did not file an Answer or Answer and Counterclaim, follow Option B.
Option C. If the Defendant filed an Answer or Answer and Counterclaim, and you do NOT agree on all of the issues of your divorce, follow Option C.
