Yes, there will be a hearing.
The hearing will last approximately 10-15 minutes. It takes place in front of a pardon board. The board consists of seven individuals appointed by the Governor. Only 5 out of 7 board members have to agree to give you a pardon. The deicion is rendered within minutes after the hearing.
While it is not mandatory that you attend the hearing, it is highly suggested that you do to show the board the changes that you have made, and further indicate why you should be considered for a pardon.
If the pardon hearing is not successful, you may apply again after a waiting period of one year.
